Fuel Management

Fleetsense offers a comprehensive fuel management solution through fuel probes, BLE beacons and our proprietary bulk tank monitors:

- Vehicles with fuel probes installed report fuel levels through their GPS trackers in real-time

- Fleetsense bulk tank monitors accurately determine fuel volumes through load cells

- Vehicles can be fitted with BLE beacons to allow bulk tank monitors to identify receiving vehicles

- Fuel stations can be fitted with BLE beacons to allow vehicle GPS trackers to identify the relevant fuel station.

Trailer Linking

Maintaining accurate records of tractor/trailer links are important for various reasons. Fleetsense maintains these records automatically:

- Trailers are fitted with BLE beacons

- The GPS tracker fitted to the host tractor determines the identity of the nearest trailer and sends this data to Fleetsense servers

- To best deal with crowded yards, a system setting can keep tractors from making new trailer links when inside certain geozones

- Automated logs for linking/de-linking and zone arrival/departures with GPS location for each log

- Missing trailers can be flagged as such in the platform which causes all Fleetsense GPS trackers to be on the lookout and report if trailer is found.

Waste skip management

Waste skips and other valuable sub-assets are difficult to keep track of. Fleetsense allows for secondary tracking of such items:

- Skips and other sub-assets are fitted with BLE beacons

- Fleetsense employs its entire ecosystem to be on the lookout for all registered sub-assets

- When a sub-asset is within range (up to 80 meters) of any Fleetsense GPS tracker, the sub-asset is assigned that tracker's location and time-stamp

- When a sub-asset is unaccounted for it can be marked in the Fleetsense platform as such and notifications are sent to the owner when seen by any Fleetsense GPS tracker

- Logs are automatically generated where sub-assets enter and leave geozones

Stationary Equipment

Fit your stationary equipment like generators, solar power installations or pump stations with a Fleetsense GPS tracker a combination of the following accessories:

- A relay to remotely power on your equipment or to switch auxilary items

- Fuel probes to gather fuel level data

- BLE sensors to measure temperature, humidity, movement and door open/closed status.

Cold Chain Monitoring

Equip your refrigerated trailers and stationary refrigeration units with a Fleetsense GPS tracker and one or more BLE sensors for real-time measurement of:

- Temperature and humidity with setpoints for out-of-bounds alerts

- Motion detection

- Magnet sensing which can be used to determine door open/closed status.

CAN Bus data

Where CAN bus is available, our CAN bus enabled GPS trackers can collect and transmit useful data such as:

- Fuel levels

- Engine temperature

- Throttle position and engine load

- RPMS, and more.

Telematics in Agriculture

There is a rapidly growing emphasis on precision farming, with telematics playing an integral role:

- GPS tracking to confirm ground covered

- Fuel monitoring: curb theft and determine consumption

- Keep track of implement and trailer usage and locations through BLE beacons.

Driver Access

In addition to our driver SAAS based management features, drivers can also be validated with the use of iButtons and appropriate GPS trackers that allow for such functionality:

- Automated logs showing driver/vehicle links

- Allow or refuse engine start depending on driver and vehicle combinations.

Driving Quality

All our GPS trackers have highly sensitive accelerometers built in, and Fleetsense gathers this data to give fleet managers a clear picture of individual driver behaviour:

- Optional push notifications for harsh acceleration, braking, or turning.
