Fuel probes
Capacitance fuel probes are installed directly in fuel tanks and provide real-time, highly accurate fuel level data. They have no moving parts, making them ideal for harsh environments.
This data is transmitted via GPS trackers to Fleetsense servers for theft detection, refueling logs, and consumption analytics.
Bulk Tank monitors
This proprietary Fleetsense system makes use of load cell technology to constantly measure the entire bulk fuel talk with its contents.
Inward and outward fuel flow is detected and a log is generated at the end of each transfer.
The use of BLE beacons allow for the detection of vehicles and fuel stations for mutual identification.
CAN bus data
Where available, the CAN bus offers direct digital access to a vehicle's fuel level data. Selected GPS trackers can extract this information without additional sensors.
This method is completely non-intrusive and highly accurate, providing fuel insights and theft detection at a lower hardware cost than physical fuel probes.

Road Haulage
